We are excited to have held our second annual Violence Reduction Academy Symposium on 20th November 2025. Recordings of the event are available in the resources section of the website.  

It was a sold-out event with over 180 delegates from all over the UK and Ireland.

The morning hosted talks showcasing health-based violence reduction models and how they interact with one another, an engaging panel discussion with influential voices in the violence reduction system, and incredible performances by young people who used different forms of creative expression to share themes identified through research.

In the afternoon delegates attended breakout sessions based on their interests. The sessions covered themes such as violence-related health data, a showcase of recent research, awareness of non-fatal strangulation presentations, and a panel discussion on the lived experience of youth workers.
